Nicholas Cutunilli, OD

Dr. Cutunilli was born and raised in Northern Nevada, just down the mountain from
Lake Tahoe. He graduated in 2012 from the University of Nevada with a Bachelors of
Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Dr. Cutunilli was awarded his
Doctorate of Optometry from the Arizona College of Optometry at Midwestern
University in 2018.

During Optometry school, Dr. Cutunilli was selected to join the Beta Sigma Kappa
Academic Honors Fraternity. He also was elected President of the Gold Key
International Optometric Honor Society and President of Lions Club. He completed
internships in Pediatrics, Vision Therapy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Specialty Contact
lenses, Orthokeratology and Ocular Disease. Upon graduation, Dr. Cutunilli was
awarded Clinical Excellence in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy.

Dr. Cutunilli has a strong passion for Pediatrics, Scleral and Gas Permeable Contact
Lenses, Double Vision, Vision Therapy and Family Eye Care. He participates in the
InfantSEE program providing complimentary vision care to Infants age 6-12months
old. Patients love Dr. Cutunilli’s outgoing and down-to-earth approach to vision care
as well as his ability to explain complex concepts.

Dr. Cutunilli and his wife love to travel, try new restaurants, go to concerts, and beef
up their dogs’ (Zephyr and Cypress) Instagram. He would describe himself as an
avid sports fan, average musician, and mediocre distance runner.
